Though St. Ann's Warehouse has been the artistic heart of Dumbo for years, it has taken time for this art center to find a theater worthy of its rich programming. After going from one place to another, St Ann's Warehouse has finally settled in a beautiful brick building which once was a tobacco factory, located underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. New York and international avant-garde artists, selected with care to be included in the programming, now have a huge stage in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
In this cave, transformed from one production to the next thanks to an ingenious system of removable panels, you can take in a contemporary play, listen to a rock concert, watch a puppet show or admire the prowess of a circus troupe. Flexible by its architecture, the space gives a great creative freedom to the artists. St. Ann's Warehouse is a contemporary art address not to be missed!
